Certain features in the game, such as each type of deployable, weapons, mounts, and housing, require special training from Travelers before you can use them.
Once you've obtained a high enough level in the skill and received the training from the traveler for that skill, it's unlocked permanently.
Training Scrolls can be purchased from various Travelers found throughout the world, each offering different unlocks depending on their specialty.
